Consultation at Our Clinic

15. 11. 2023

You have found our clinic or perhaps you were referred to us by your dentist. Now you call us or write an email to arrange a consultation – what can you expect next?

Our reception will send you login information to our online patient system. This will allow you to fill out all the necessary documents in advance in the comfort of your home. It will also save us a lot of paperwork at the clinic, so that we will be able to fully attend to you and your children.

We need to know as much information about your child as possible in order to choose the best medical approach to you. If you want to convey to us something else about your child which is not covered in the questionnaire, rest assured that you can tell us in person during the consultation.

You’ll be let into the clinic after ringing the bell outside the entrance. Once inside, our reception will register you, and your child can enjoy our children’s play area while waiting for the consultation. We’ll also be happy to make you a nice cup of coffee.

At the clinic, you’ll meet the dentist who will conduct the consultation. This is the perfect time to share any specifics and preferences about your child to make the visit as pleasant as possible. During the initial consultation, our goal is to examine your child’s teeth and inform you about possible treatment options. The examination is important because it helps us create a customised treatment plan for your child. If necessary, your child can be examined while sitting in your lap or even standing, whichever makes them feel most comfortable. We do our best to get a quick look at their teeth, even if it’s just for a few seconds.

For the examination, we only use gloves, a face mask, a mirror, and magnifying glasses. You can introduce your child to these tools at home—magnifying glasses can be compared to binoculars with a headlamp.

Afterwards, the dentist will discuss the potential treatment options with you. At the end of the visit, you’ll receive all the necessary information and documents in your online account, so you can review them at home. You can then book an appointment at the reception or arrange a follow-up contact if you need time to decide. All documents will be available online in your personal account, so you don’t have to worry about losing or forgetting any paperwork.

And that’s it! We look forward to seeing you!
